Did you go ahead with the pro flow 4?
I have a system in the shop waiting to be installed on a mercruiser 5.0 I'm hoping to start the project soon.
I'd also have a question like what is the best way to wire the shift cutout?

Pro Flo 4 on a Mercruiser 5.7
Hello. I was about to pull the trigger on the Holley Sniper EFI for my twin Mercruiser 5.7's and the negative information I continue to find online about it has caused me great hesitation. I just found the pro 4 system today and I really like it as well as all of the positive reviews and hardly any negatives.
With that said, I am looking to install this on my boat that has twin Mercruiser 5.7's, 1997, standard engines. I know a few things I need to watch out for is the fuel pump needs to be close to the engine and have a fuel return line as well as need to add a vent with a 90 degree bend in it to the distributor. All not very complex stuff.
I was wondering about a few things
-Has anyone on this forum perhaps done this already?
-What other things would I need to do to make it work properly in my application?
-Any other information or advice?
Thank you,
