I have a 302 ford with a "moderate" cam (I do not know the exact cam specs). I am currently running the 5002 Map. My problem is when I choose the "mild" cam option in the setup wizard, it runs too lean 14.7 AFR. That AFR reading stays the same no matter what I am doing with the throttle (idling, cruising, WOT). When I choose the "race" cam, the AFR is 10.2 which is too rich. I have adjusted the fuel modifiers, but it doesn't make enough of a change. Any help would be greatly appreciated! =)

You can use the vacuum reading at idle to help you select weather to use the mild or race map. If map 5002 in “mild” configuration is to lean, the next richer map in mild configuration is 5008. Give it a shot and see what happens. -

Like said above, you can use vacuum idle, some actually prefer it. If you look at the map matrix, each map has a specific vacuum range. What is you idle vacuum?Originally posted by Racer X View PostComment
