  • Coolant temp sensor with Chrysler kits?

Does the BB Chrysler kit, in my case 35920, come with a coolant temp sensor? It is a dry manifold, so there is nothing to preinstall it to, and there is no passage in the head or intake to install it to. I was wondering if it was something that I could get at a local parts store.

    Thanks

Scroll down to the pictures. Right side, 3rd one down. You can see the sensor mounted in the water pump. Sensor is in the kit.

If you got a kit that didn't come with a coolant temp sensor, it was by mistake. There was a small batch of Mopar kits that went out without coolant temp sensors. Contact Tech Support and they'll send you one right away: 1-800-416-8628. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Here is another solution from Mopar guru Andy F.

You can get them at Hughes and Mancini. You can also flip it to change the orientation of the sensor.

I have a port already where my old Megasquirt sensor was. As far as AR Engineering parts go, I use as many of them as possible. Always a clean, elegant, but simple solution to common problems.
