I installed the Banks idash1.8. And it is fantastic. Recommend to everyone, easy to install and a quick Amazon search for a solderless db9 and a bit of additional wire and you are done. Mount it how or where you like.

With mine the choices in gauge set up is limited and most don't work, battery voltage works but that's about it.
I updated firmware and did the set up multiple times.

You got it hooked up with the 4 wires to the canbus?
POS
Neg
Hi can
Low can
From there just change the gauges displayed through settings on gauge.
There is a List of output from ECU to dash on the banks site. There are 10 output for memory. Saves you time trying to figure out what is what.
I Have mine set to 8 different displays. They are plenty large enough to view easily.

i bought a solderless plug and 2 stand of wire (already had a few connecters sitting around) from amazon and ran the + and - and a pos and neg (put it all in a single harness from gauge tail to ecu) and into the bus plug. I have the plug that looks like an old printer plug not the newer one.
if you done have a harness to wrap it in, you can make your own.
1 grab roll of elec tape.
start it and roll it back on itself
keep rolling till you have a roll about as thick as your thumb
then apply it to the wires
this way you get a decent looking result without using a harness, and it is 100% easier than trying to wrap it straight from the roll .

My can bus from the edelbrock pf4 has the DB9 connector, I spliced the green and white wires from the I dash right into the edelbrock harness instead of using a DB9 connector.
the other 2 wires off the i dash are the ground and power wires.
The I dash powers up fine like it should but just doesn't give me the gauge choices that the list says I should have.

That wiring shouldnt be a problem at all. But just for testing if easy to do build a db9 connector (amazon somderless is a out 5 bucks) and use the 4 wires from the can to run the gauge.
What part number do you have?
Banks iDash® 1.8 DataMonsterNo OBD, Primary Gaugefor vehicles without OBD
SKU: 66763
Or
Banks iDash® 1.8 SuperGaugeNo OBD, Primary Gaugefor vehicles without

In my neighborhood, if you open your hood to check your oil, and the vehicle still runs after you close it.......Then your labeled the Neighborhood Mechanic.
