    I understand what their talking about in the link of the RED writing of your post.

    It basically says to close the valves at 3,000 RPM, or power might be restricted.

    A 21st Century Hot Roder would use a RPM activated switch ( https://www.autometer.com/rpm-activated-switch.html ) to close the valve.....will need a additional circuit if the motors are PWM.
