  • Exhaust Manifold Torque ?

I have RPM Performer (61629) heads on my 351 Cleveland and am about to replace the exhaust manifolds with ceramic coated ones. I can't find the torque specification for the exhaust manifold bolts.

There is no bolt torque for installing headers. Just use two fingers on a box end wrench and go from inside out...Then after every few heat cylces, you are gonna have to go back and re-snug them up, because they will always loosen up.

I am looking at installing studs and want to know how much torque to set them at with an aluminum head.

Not to be picky. But studs aren't torqued. The nuts are.

        Sanderson Headers says 15-20 ft/lbs.
