  • High Temp After Shut Off

I have the Performer carb and manifold on my 350 Chevy small block. It runs at 180' - 190' degrees all day but goes up to 225' - 235' degrees after shutoff. I'm concerned about damage to the engine and also the manifold. Since the manifold is aluminum, is it drawing the heat and is it susceptible to damage at this temperature? Or is this the norm? I have no starting or percolating problem.
