  • Crank Fuel Option Under Advanced Tuning

Hi under advanced tuning there's "crank fuel" adjustment. Is this for if you have extended crank when warm starting? If the car sits for a short time maybe an hour it seems to take some time to start

Cranking Fuel is only active under 300 RPM. It has no affect after it passes that. So if you are having issue starting, you can add or subtract fuel to see if it improves. If it is only when hot, try changing it by +/-10% to see if it wants more or less fuel. Smaller % changes are harder to tell the difference, once you have it in the ballpark, then you can make small adjustments. Keep in mind, that this is just during cranking and it will affect cold starting as well, so it may take several adjustments to get it dialed in as well as some changes to Cold Start Enrichment. Cold Start Enrichment has no affect above 150F.

Fuel pressure might not be enough for a quick start.

Turn the key ON till you hear the fuel pump turn ON, then OFF.
      Turn the key OFF.
Then turn the key ON....this should guarantee the fuel pressure is around 48psi.....after this second round of turning on the fuel pump. The motor should start quickly.
