Unhappy edelbrock extreme resovoir shocks

I have a six inch lift on my 05 jeep wrangler unlimited. I was told that the xtreme shock with remote resovoirs would work on this application. I had them professionally installed. On my first offroad trip, the rear shocks blew both seals and were destroyed. I returned them to the shop that I had them installed by and they told me that the bump stops were not high enough so they would not honor any replacement. They sent the shocks to edelbrock and they said the same thing. I did receive two replacement shocks at cost from the shop that I had them installed at. I also had taller bump stops installed to solve the problem. I have now had these shocks for nine months and both of them are leaking again. I carry a 35 inch spare tire on the back of my jeep and also have about 30 lbs of equipment in the rear. Is that to much weight for these shocks? These shocks were recommended to me because they were highly rated in the industry. What do I do? These are not cheep shocks and I have used edelbrock parts for many years. Is there anyone else that is having this same problem..
Looking for help............

Ken
