Default How to delete old data files

Old data files cannot be deleted through the QwikData program. If you try to delete them, they will go away as if they have been deleted, but when you reopen the file window they will be back.

You have to use Widows Explorer and go to the Folder on the hard drive where the files are stored.

So, you could right mouse click on the start button, then click on Explore. This will bring up a window with all the file on the hard drive located on the left of the screen.

Select C;\Local Disk>Program files>QwikData; then select the folder or files you want to delete.

To make sure you get the correct files, be sure to view them in QwikData historical data and write down the names before deleting them.
