Is it possible to extract the tune from the ecu?,mine was dyno tuned with the hand held controller only.I would like to see if the complete lack of performance is due to operator error when saving the tune info to the ecu.It is a 35080 kit.

You can use the eFlash software to both extract the base calibration AND display all current cal module trims.

In the eFlash File menu, choose extract map

In the View menu, choose Show cal data

The ECU has to be connected to the PC and powered up.

Ok I have done that and now am very worried,the calibration is 3514 and the cal data shows all spark is at 0.00
most of the fuel set points are at 1.00 with 6,12"and wot having between 0.94 and 0.91 between 2000rpm to 5000rpm.
global fuel is 1.27
does this sound right for a 440 with 236 deg @ .050"and a lobe sep of 108 deg with fettled heads and cast exhaust manifolds.
obviously the cal file is for a chev ,this was in the ecu from the factory.When the engine builder couldn't connect with a pc,to flash a more appropriate cal file(eg #3543) ,he supposedly tuned with the hand controller???
Help !!!!!This is a customers car,AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!

Spark mod set to 0.00 only means no change has been made to the base calibration. 236 deg at 0.050" with a 108 lobe separation will create quite a bit of overlap. I bet it doesn't pull very much vacuum at idle huh? 7-8 inches maybe? No matter what you do, that setup will be tough to tune with that cam. Not impossible but tough. We typically recommend at least 112 degrees for lobe sep on EFI applications. An experienced tuner will be able to make it work though. The alpha-N strategy is also an option.

See here --> http://forums.edelbrock.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38

for information on Alpha-N vs Map-N.

Yes the vacuum at idle is only 9".So the fuel table has been modified then?I need to know if I should persist with the current cal/tune ,supposed to be set on dyno with accurate a/f meter.Or should I start with a new cal file?Also how effective would the o2 sensor/closed loop be with this cam,it's currently turned off.

Yes, the fuel map has been modified. How much power did it make on the dyno? What size injectors are you running?

It made 399.6hp at 5000 and 419.8ft/lbs at 5000 with 360 ft/lbs at 2500 on 35lbs/hr injectors.Can you suggest any possible spark changes?
This current setup will not produce a burnout even with a 2500 stall converter and 3.55 diff gears??///////???//
