are any 390 ford engines before '66 able to use the new pro flo 2 kit,35420? edelbrock's description says 66 forward charlie

As far as the manifold bolting to older engines it will. On some of the older engines they utilized a locater pin for the manifold (these would have to be removed). I am also not sure on the valve covers this would require a little bit more research.
