I have a .30 over 327 with performer rpm heads (6073) comp cams 268 cam shaft and I'm about to install my new fuel injection system (3500). This engine is installed in my 71 GMC truck that is 2 wheel drive and had a Turbo 350 trans with a shfit kit. I have read some different things about the best distributor to use. I have a good HEI I can convert and use but was wondering if there was a distributor out there that is easier to use or one that requires less modification? Maybe a plug and play distributor? If anyone has any ideas I would be interested to find out.
Thanks.

You can use a Mallory 6148201 and a MSD Blaster coil 8202

Shaun, I am also using a converted HEI Distributor with my Pro-Flo 3500. I have it in a 69 Camaro with a 383 Stroker. The Stroker has Dart Pro 1 64cc Aluminum Heads; 10.5:1 Compression Ratio; and a Comp Solid Lifter Cam with .555 Lift and 262 Duration @ .050. The HEI really fits tight and I am looking for a smaller distributor. Are there any modifications required to the Mallory 6148201? Are there any instructions for hooking it up to the Ignition Amplifier? Also, since the Mallory needs an external coil, are there any instructions for that wiring? Thanks, John
