Many years ago I approached your comapny to request cooperation in developing port injection for the Studebaker V8 engine. At that time we progressed up to and including my purchase of a Mallory distributor custom built for the Stude engine. Then the bombshell, $4000 to custom build a manifold. At that the project got shelved.
I'm now in position to proceed with that project and I still have that special distributor. With my current access to a machine shop I now can perform all the manifold mods necessary to mount the injectors and the throttle body (replacing a AFB carb) onto a modified Stude dual plane intake 4 BBL manifold.
Can we work together to make this happen? I'll need from you a complete electronics package (universal) with wiring, A fuel pump, regulator, fuel injectors, throttle body and perhaps some other miscellaneous parts. I specifically will not need fuel rails, and intake manifold.
Since my previous contact with your firm I have successfully installed electronic, crank triggered, direct fire ignition, eliminating the distributor. This installation has proven itself in more than 15,000 miles of driving.
