I purchased a 63 Corvette with 350 and ProFlow system installed. I am going to install a Tremec 5 speed and at the same time relocate the electronics for the Pro Flow to a better location. My question is, when I disconnect the system for engine removal, plus disconnect of the electronics for relocation, what do I need to know and be aware of to assure I don't cause damage? Also, do a document any settings so when I reinstall, it works the same as it does today? If so, how and what settings am I looking for to document? Thanks for any advice you can give.

Download a copy of the installation manual at the link above. The ECU will not lose any calibration information when it is disconnected from power. Since you are removing the engine and re-installing it, you will likely have to go through the distributor install and ignition sync procedures as well as the idle tuning. All of this is outlined in the manual.
