I have the first generation of edelbrock pro flo efi #3503. I have chip part #3512. I was wondering which cam was used for the baseline tuning for this chip? I would like to install that cam to make the tuning processs a little smother.

That calibration is designed for cams with intake durations between 216 and 228 measured at 0.050" lift.

I was wondering which cam was used for the initial testing to establish the base line? The sheet I have for the chip said it was for a cam with 208 to 220 degrees at .50 on the intake side. I would just like to use the cam that was used to develop this chip.

That calibration work was probably done more than 12 years ago. It might be tough to find out what exact cam was used.

I can tell you that we used a 2208 hydraulic roller to develop our new 3512 calibration for the Pro Flo2 system. We started from the old calibration and didn't have to make any significant modifications to the fuel map.

The 2208 (1957-86) or 2209 (1987 - later) is 212 deg int. @ 0.050 and 222 deg exh.

I'll see if I can dig up some info on the exact cam used for the original 3512 cal. If I find anything, I'll let you know.

Thanks that would be greatly appreciated. I am sure the info is their somewhere. I was able to get the info several months ago, but lost the email. Now I am in the position to do it.

I'm told it was our #2103 cam which is 214 Int and 214 Exh duration @.050 with .442 valve lift on both the intake and exhaust with 112 degrees of lobe separation.
