I am having a pro flo 2 system installed on a 1985 GMC pu with dual tanks. has anyone else tried this installation with dual tanks?
My mechanic is telling me he needs to add a valve between the tanks to control flow of gas to and from the tanks.
Any help would be appreciated.

Use Edelbrock part number 3580 it is a Dual Tank Fuel Pump Kit. Or however your mechanic wants to do it.

Thanks, this truck does not have fuel injection so no fuel pumps in the tank. So the valve you mention will allow the fuel to flow to and from whichever tank I am running on?
My mechanic is telling me that I will have a steady flow of gas to and from whichever tank is being used. I thought that the return gas would be a minimal amount and could be returned to only one tank but, he is telling me that it will drain the tank without the return.
I really suprised that Edlebrock failed to mention this in their installation instructions.

You have to use a 4 port switch so you are returning to the tank you are pulling from.
