In finding that the cost of upgrading my Pro-Flow 1 to the Pro-Flow 2 electronics is nearly $2K, I'm wondering if it would be more efficient cost-wise to sell the Pro-Flow 1 and instead run the Pro Tuner.

As I said in the thread under Pro-Flow, I intend to run a blow-thru, and instead of upgrading the pump and upgrading the electronics of the Pro-Flow 1, it seems like I would spend the same overall $$ by doing the above and end up with an EFI more suitable to systematic engine upgrades, eventually running 15-20lbs of boost.

I'm computer literate and tuning with a laptop and software is not a goal that is difficult to achieve.

Opinion, anyone?

The Pro Flo and Pro Tuner systems use different throttle bodies and you can't mix and match unfortunately. The TPS sensor is different and the mounting flange is different. If you went with the Pro Tuner, you would have to replace the manifold and throttle body putting your total cost for the system in the 3K-4K range.

If you are computer literate and have the patience to learn the software interface, the Pro Tuner system would work very well for you. One advantage the Pro Tuner setup has right now over our Pro Flo2 is the ability to tune real time with the PC. This makes life a little easier when you are just getting started. Boost is no problem. Setting up different map sensors is also no problem with Pro Tuner.
