OK I'm the new guy on the block with lots of questions. First alittle history of my project. Ihave an '89 firebird originally a 305 tpithat I built a 400 sbc for years ago with an accel dfi system and tpis miniram manifold(told you it was years ago) it performed awesome, but the dfi of those days(dos based) it very antiquated. I'am ready to update to a new tuner and intake system as I plan on more mods and a nitrous kit. The miniram prevents the nozzle kit from being installed and it is very difficult tofind a laptop that is that old and still working to tune the dos based system. The engine by the way dynoed at 507hp at the rear wheels before(not bad) my goal once done on the juice is about 800-900 at the wheels. The main questions I have are
1: is there a way to connect the pro tuner ecm into the factory harness with a special connector so as not to loose the factory dash electronics and computer controlled items(such as fuel pump relay on ect)
2: if this is possible will it also run stock style distributor from 1989 (the original tpi dist design)
