Couple questions about my proflo 35310 gen 2 system I have...

1. What should the range of spark be at idle and at full throttle... I know I set base timing at 10. should it go up to 30 or up to 45-50 degrees of spark?

2. I noticed my lights just bounce around all the time, don't really give me a good chance to configure anything, figure it's working and doing it's thing. sometimes it does go rich for a long period of driving, is there anyway to tell exactly what the fuel ratio is (how rich it is?) either by laptop while driving or by the handheld? Is this what the lambda is on the laptop?

I have adjusted 1000, 2000, and 3000 fuel modifiers to increase by 28%, 22%, and 12% for each just to get it to go rich? seem a bit high?

thanks

Do you remember what calibration file you loaded?

30 degrees is not unusual at idle and it will normally ramp up to 45+ if you open the throttle slightly in neutral.

It's not unusual for your rich/lean indicator to bounce around. To know exactly what the air-fuel ratio is, you need to use a wideband oxygen sensor/controller. Dynojet makes a nice one called the Wideband Commander. Go to www.widebandcommander.com for more info. All Pro Flo2 kits are pre-configured to use the wideband commander by installing the O2 select jumper cap on your harness. See your installation instructions for more details on that.

Your adjustments at the low and midrange points aren't surprising. Every engine is different. Torque converters, trans and rear gears have a huge affect on the tune. Every setup is different.

Hope that helps.
