Edelbrock makes a head for the ford 351C engine which is a bolt on for the 351M and 400 engines. There are millions of them out there.
These heads are great but no one makes pistons that will mate with them and produce a squish area and an acceptable Compression Ratio (CR).
No one, well no one much, builds these engines as the open smog combustion chambers just don't work well, in the power or gas milage department but with new heads and properly designed pistons the combustion is completely redesigned.
Come on Edelbrock. You already make the heads, how hard could pistons be? If you can't make 'em get someone else to and offer 'em on the same page.
