500-plus with pro flow XT

What mods. if any would have to be made to the XT system to get to the 550 horsepower mark.

I'm sorry, but which engine are you starting with?

What heads and cam... or are you asking for those?

What displacement do you have?

Really all of our XT manifold and throttle body systems can go to 550HP, it's more a matter of injector size, head and cam combination

The engine is a 383 with victor Jr. heads, 242/248 @ .050 cam, 10.5 to 11.0:1 compression. The cam is a hydraulic roller. My original setup was going to have a tunnel ram and dual 600's.

I really would like a Victor Ram with the XT system on it but I'm not looking for a 30,000 dollar build either.

The SBC XT manifold will not be a power restriction in your setup. The limitation is injector size. To support 550 hp, you will need at least 35 lb/hr injectors. The fuel pump supplied with the kit is capable of 650 hp so no problem there.
