Hi, I am looking into purchasing the controller for my Performer RPM Nitrous system.

I will hook it up as per the wiring diagram for the Trans-Brake application, but I was wondering how I would tie in those switches:

1 - Fuel Pressure Switch (since my nitrous fuel system is independant from the engine one)

2 - RPM window switch (so the nitrous gets deactivated before it hits the rev-limiter)

Thanks in advance

P.S. We have ran the 200hp jets squared up (89/89) very succesfully with the original -4 an supply line. Do I need to upgrade to a -6 an if I run the 250hp (99/102) or the 250hp squared up (102/102)???

Run the Fuel Pressure Switch and RPM Activation Switch in series on the ground for your Solenoids and Activation Relay.(Pin 85)

Summary: Pin 85 on Relay to Hobbs Switch out of Hobbs Switch to Yellow wire from RPM Activation Switch.

Thank you very much.

What about the line question? Would a -4an line be okay for the 250 jets (99/102) and squaring them off (102/102)? Or should I upgrade to -6an?

Thanks for all the help

At 250 HP the dash 4 hose will be fine. The first pass I would run at 99/102 and check the plugs, then if all looks good run the 102/102 and see how your E.T and plugs look.
Good Luck!

Thank you for all the info, greatly appreciated.

Two more questions regarding the Controller:

1 - In the instruction it says to put the controller as far away as possible to the igintion box, coil and distributor. What is an acceptable distance? Would 12" too little?

2 - Are the Taylor Pro Race 409 10.4mm spark plug wires ok? Will they cause interference?

Thanks again!!

Taylor Spir-Pro 409 wires will be acceptable. Mounting box 12 inches from ignition source is OK. Most important is the solenoid ground wires from the 71900 to the solenoids. These wires must not be in vicinity of any ignition related wires or devices. Give min. of 6 inches, do not pass thru firewall near distributer or coil. Be sure to observe face of 71900 controller when engine is running, any RF issues will cause display to studder.
